Association of Women Committees for Social Work Runs a Meeting to Support Palestinian Villages in Its Action Plans

Within the framework of “Enhancing Palestinian Women’s Participation in Political and Public Life” program, Association of Women Committees for Social Work /Public Relations and Programs Department held two meetings that were supervised and directed by the specialist Mr. Arif Jaffal and attended by local bodies, female leaders, and representatives of grass root organizations in Ramallah and Jenin Governorates. The meetings aimed at discussing the issues, needs, and action plans that have been arrived at by the advocacy committees (committees to promote women’s participation) in each village of the ten targeted villages; namely, Beit-Sira, Kharbtha Bani Harith, Beit ‘Ur, Saffa, and Kharbtha al-Misbah in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorates, as well as Al-Yamun, Burqin, Fahme, Kufr Ra’i, and Al-Sila al-Harithiya in Jenin Governorate.
AWCSW program coordinators recorded the issues and needs suggested and discussed in the action plans of the targeted villages. Thence, Mr. Arif Jaffal discussed and illuminated to personages of local bodies and committees’ members the most efficient methods to resolve the talked over issues.
